Board Recognition Month: NEISD celebrates dedicated Board of Trustees

January is School Board Recognition Month, a time to celebrate the dedicated board members who play an important role in our communities. North East ISD is fortunate to have a group of committed leaders working to make our schools the best they can be. These elected public officials generously donate their time and work on behalf of their community without pay. It is truly a labor of love.

"I am honored to work alongside our Board of Trustees," said Dr. Sean Maika, Superintendent of Schools. "Each member possesses a servant’s heart and gives countless hours each month to serve their community and the entire NEISD. Their leadership allows NEISD to continuously innovate and serve the students, parents and employees of our District."

This month, we are taking extra time to recognize the amazing work and long hours the NEISD Board of Trustees give to ensure your child receives the best education possible in a safe, secure learning environment. Please take a moment to honor the work they do in planting seeds of success for the students in your community.
