NEISD student recognized by American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics

A student essay written in a Principles of Applied Engineering class at North East ISD’s Krueger School of Applied Technologies (KSAT) is garnering national recognition. Last year, Isa Jacobs penned an essay about the key advantages and disadvantages of a proposed Space Force program and an organizational restructuring within the Department of Defense. Her essay was judged on factors like originality, clarity of expression and the development of her ideas.

Jacobs’ essay was ranked 3rd place overall by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). She’ll receive a free one-year student membership to the AIAA which grants her access to exciting aerospace challenges and opportunities. Congratulations Isa!
