Congratulations to Angie D’Ambrosio from Redland Oaks Elementary. She has been selected as the 2020 ESC-20 Elementary Teacher of the Year.
Ms. D’Ambrosio has 22 years of teaching experience and was selected based on her outstanding teaching and leadership in the classroom. Her learning environment promotes fun, curiosity, and an exploration of the world. In October she will represent ESC-20 at the upcoming state-level competition.
The Texas State Teacher of the Year (TOY) Program, sponsored by the Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA), honors excellence in classroom education and provides a forum to showcase many outstanding educators whose efforts and example inspire their students, their colleagues and the communities they serve. The Texas Teacher of the Year recognition is the highest honor the State of Texas can bestow upon a teacher.
Facilitated by TASA, the Texas Teacher of the Year Program annually recognizes and rewards teachers who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and excellence in teaching.
