LEE cadets suit up for adventure training

JROTC cadets at LEE High School went looking for adventure at Mo-Ranch Summer Camp. Students took part in the camp's Environmental Leadership Program (ELP), which included team building, canoeing, swimming, hiking and rope courses.

“It was a great time to relax with friends and build a stronger bond with the people who you don’t know well," said cadet Gage Glascow. "I even overcame my fear of heights on the rope course."

The leadership program centered around areas like trust, goal setting, commitment, and pushing themselves out of their comfort zone to achieve success.

“This was an important opportunity to get to know each other, bond together and become a cohesive learning unit,” said cadet James Gustin.
