The sky's the limit at Jackson-Keller this summer

Summer school students at Jackson-Keller Elementary School students are seeing stars in their campus library. Students are going “to infinity and beyond” listening to stories and completing activities about space. The theme this summer is “Space: Reading is a Blast!” and the staff are ensuring that students have the opportunity to go beyond their imagination using reading activities in the classrooms to connect with Space.

Recently, local Bulverde storyteller Sue Kuentz was invited to bring Space to life and share her passion of storytelling with North East ISD students. With her wonderful stories and animation, she presented stories that included "Stories on Earth ..... and Beyond” and other wonderful spaced out selections.

Jackson-Keller truly has captured the students' imagination by creating memorable experiences in a fun learning environment by providing activities about the moon, rockets and planets. The experience has motivated and opened students' imaginations through reading and taken them to other places. This summer, students truly are having a BLAST!
