NEISD students shine at UIL Academic State Meet

North East ISD was well represented at this year’s UIL Academic State Meet at the University of Texas in Austin. NEISD students faced off against the top 24 students in individual events and the top eight schools in the One Act Play (OAP) Contest. Students qualified for the contest by placing in the top three and advancing from the district and region academic contests. OAP troupes have to advance through district, bi-district, area, and regional levels to make it to the state contest.
