Wood students encourage water conservation
Students from Wood Middle School shared their vision for water conservation with the next generation of students at Fox Run and Woodstone Elementary Schools on Monday, May 20. This group of 8th-grade Wood students were originally challenged to come up with their own conservation project during San Antonio Water System’s IMPACT Summit in March. This project inspired them to write, illustrate and self-publish a children’s storybook about the importance of water conservation. During their reading at Fox Run and Woodstone, the young conservationists spoke about some of the small changes that could leave a lasting impact on the environment.
