Colonial Hills holds first ever Culture Night

Students, families, and staff filled Colonial Hills Elementary School for the first ever Culture Night on Tuesday, March 5. Each grade level was tasked with presenting information on countries from various continents. As each student made their way to the “airport” they received a passport with their photo. Guests then traveled from country to country listening to conversations in different languages and sampling unique dishes. They also had the chance to participate in traditional activities from each country. The Madison High School mariachi band was also there to play for the entire crowd. The inaugural Culture Night event was a success, and Colonial Hills plans to continue this new tradition.
