LEE JROTC cadets take part in Heroes for Health Day

Jackson-Keller Elementary School students received a special visit from LEE High School JROTC cadets during Heroes for Health Day on Thursday, Feb. 28. The cadets talked with the students about the importance of living a healthy lifestyle and starting those habits at a young age. The JROTC cadets also got physical in the gym while taking part in station activities like hula hoops, basketball, rock climbing, and scaling ropes. Heroes for Health is a local partnership with Go Public that uses community role models to teach and inspire students to eat healthy and stay active.
