At the beginning of the school year, Krueger Middle School PALS teamed up with The Heart Smiles organization, a charity based in San Antonio whose mission is to better the lives of orphans in Ghana, West Africa. Krueger PALS collected donations such as food, clothing, medical items and educational material to be donated to those in need. Students from across campus also wrote letters to send to Ghana with the donation.
