Eisenhower PALS gear up for ‘No One Eats Alone Day’

Students in the Peer Assistance Leadership and Service (PALS) program are gearing up for National No One Eats Alone Day on Friday, Feb. 15. This annual event encourages students and teachers to branch out and meet someone new. Eisenhower teachers have taken a pledge to eat with students that day.

“I am so excited to see the faces of the students when they see all the teachers in the cafeteria,” said PALS teacher Kara Leyva. “Our goal will be to learn the name of a student we don't know.”

Eisenhower PALS posed with their pledge tree, with each heart representing a pledge the PALS and teachers have taken. The PALS hope to be able to fill the whole bulletin board with more than 300 student pledges after Feb. 15th.
