Third-grade students at Bulverde Creek Elementary School launched their own pencil business as a way to give back to the Child Life Department at Methodist Children’s Hospital. "Pencilmania" allowed students the chance to sell pencils to their peers in three different grade levels. After the sale, students were thrilled to find out that they raised $787.44. This donation will help the Child Life Department purchase supplies that maintain a sense of normalcy for hospitalized children at Methodist Children's hospital. Bulverde Creek would like to thank Reagan Skills USA for donating the presentation check that was delivery by the third-grade team of teachers on Dec. 20, 2018.
