Churchill student council donates “pink out” t-shirt revenue

The Churchill High School student council launched a “pink out” t-shirt fundraiser during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. On Wednesday, Dec. 12, students donated the revenue from the t-shirt drive to the START Center, a facility offering state-of-the-art genetic testing for more effective cancer care in San Antonio.

With the help of their amazing sponsors and HEB’s generous support, students were able to present START Center representatives with a check for $5,000. The donation is meant to honor all fighters and survivors of breast cancer in Churchill’s community, and across the world.
