NEISD Marching Bands shine at BOA Super Regional

Congratulations to the Johnson and Reagan High School Marching Bands for finishing in the top 10 during the Bands of America San Antonio Super Regional Marching Competition Nov. 2-5. The Reagan Marching Band finished in 2nd place overall and was also awarded Outstanding Visual Effect. The Johnson Marching Band finished in 5th place overall. North East ISD is very proud of all the students, teachers and volunteers involved. Marching Bands from Churchill, LEE, MacArthur, and Madison High Schools also performed very well during this event, and competed alongside some of the best bands in the nation. 

Reagan's band logged the third highest score ever given at any BOA Regional or Super Regional contest, which was also the best score in school history. 

With 84 bands participating, this prestigious marching contest is 2nd only in size to the Bands of America Grand Nationals in Indianapolis, Indiana. Reagan will perform in the UIL State Marching Band Contest Monday, Nov. 5 at 5:15 pm. Johnson’s Marching Band will follow at 7:15 pm.
