The Johnson High School Dolce Sirena Varsity Treble Choir has been named a National Winner in the 2018 Mark of Excellence National Choral Honors Project. The Mark of Excellence is a national competition, sponsored by the Foundation for Music Education, that recognizes music programs and their ensembles for high standards in performance. The project received 279 entries from 38 states. The adjudicator was Dr. Janet Galvan from Ithaca College.
The students will be recognized with a trophy and the recording of their performance will be included on a compilation CD of all the National Winners.
