Thank you NEISD Board of Trustees!
January is School Board Recognition Month, a time to celebrate the dedicated board members who play a vital role in our District. The Board of Trustees is made up of seven elected leaders who establish policies for operating the District and ensuring its financial viability. They also employ the superintendent, approve the budget and monitor expenditures, set the tax rate or call for a bond or tax rate election.
NEISD is fortunate to have a group of committed leaders working hard to make our schools the best they can be. NEISD principals took a moment to share their thanks in a special video message to the Board of Trustees.
"School board members, thank you for your passion and dedication to our school district," said Cynthia Rubio, Krueger Middle School Principal. "We appreciate each and every one of you. You put so much thought, time and attention while giving of yourself to make sure that the best decisions were made for our schools."
