NEISD temporarily increases substitute teacher pay
Calling all substitute teachers - an additional temporary pay rate increase has been approved for teacher and special education substitutes who accept assignments at North East ISD through June 30, 2022.
The following full day rates apply to all campus locations:
- Certified Teacher: $120
- Degreed/Non-Certified Teacher or Persons with 60 or more college credits: $110
- Long Term Teacher: $150
- Special Education Instructional Assistant: $98
In addition, there will be a one-time $100 incentive for any teacher substitute who fulfills 20 days within one of the four 9-week periods. Teacher substitutes who accept assignments on Fridays will earn $20 extra that day.
