Welcome back for another great year!
Hello, I am Maribel Alvarado and I am excited to be the new Assistant Principal at Encino Park Elementary!
About me... I will be starting my 16th year as an educator, all with North East ISD. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Jose, for 30 years. We have two grown children and one grandson. Both our children are products of North East ISD schools. I absolutely love spending time with my family and friends. In my free time, I enjoy reading with my toes in the sand, working on projects around the house (HGTV fan), listening to music, and trying new recipes.
I believe that quality education is a gift that every child deserves. I know every child here at Encino Park Elementary will receive this beautiful gift because of the great staff and our passion in creating successful educational experiences. I am looking forward to a great year and am eager to assist the Encino Park community, so please feel free to stop by and say hello.
