Shawn Hayden
My name is Shawn Hayden and I am an Assistant Principal at Bulverde Creek Elementary. I am entering my 18th year in education. I have had the privilege of teaching 2nd through 5th grade during my years as a teacher, first in Plano ISD and then in California. I have taught fourth grade at Encino Park, served as the assistant principal at both Northern Hills and Tuscany Heights, and spent the last four and a half years as the Principal at Redland Oaks. I graduated from the University of North Texas and received my master’s degree from Concordia University Texas. I am so pleased to join the Bulverde Creek team as the assistant principal!
My husband and I have two children and one newborn grandson as of May 15, 2019. Our daughter, son-in-law and grandbaby live in Dallas and both work in education as administrators. Our son is going to be a junior at Texas A&M. We also are parents to two sweet, but high strung dogs. We log many miles on I35 on the weekends to see the new grandbaby.
