Terri Williams, Vice President

"The North East Independent School District Board of Trustees works together with the Superintenent as a team of eight that are committed to the belief that children come first.  Funding and growth will continue to be challenges in this district that we will face head on.  We will work diligently to provide the educational opportunities our children need to achieve their personal best for success academically and in life.  I am honored to work alongside our many stakeholders such as parents, community, staff, and board members to help our future generations of North East Independent School District succeed."

Board Member, Terri Williams, a 30-year economic development professional, long-time community leader and life-long San Antonio resident, was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2018.  She has lived in NEISD for 27 years, holds a degree in political science from the Unitersity of Texas at San Antonio and Economic Development Certification from the International Economic Development Council.  She has served on the Bond Steering Committe, a graduate of Leadership North East, and 3 years as a member of the NEISD Citizens' Bond Advisory Committee.

Ms. Williams is Director of the Small Business Development Center Procurement Technical Assistance Center with the University of Texas at San Antonio.  She is married and has two sons who are alumni of Theodore Roosevelt High School, Prairie View A & M University, and Texas Southern University.  She is a member of Mount Zion First Baptist Church.
