Membership

Since May, 1996, a single-member district system has been in place for the election of the Board of Trustees in North East ISD. Trustees are elected by voters in the district in which they currently reside and serve four-year terms. Elections are held during even numbered years. Trustee Districts

The Board of Trustees adopted new trustee districts on January 9, 2012. These new districts were then submitted to the Department of Justice for pre-clearance.
