Churchill High School Girls Basketball Coach Jamie Grams could not be prouder of her team. The Chargers dominated District play, going undefeated and racking up titles.
They were crowned Bi-District Champs, Area Champs and Regional Champs.
On their road to glory this season, they stunned the number one 6A team in Texas.
Their incredible season took them all the way to the state semi-finals.
That hard work was celebrated with a medal ceremony in front of family, friends and fans at Churchill this week.
“As a team we are grateful for the Churchill community for being on the ride with us,” said Coach Grams. “We will always remember and be forever grateful for all of you.”
During the ceremony, the team heard from their coaches, received their medals and got the opportunity to cut down the net—a celebrated tradition in basketball.
Congratulations, ladies! You have represented yourselves, your school and our District well on this run.
