NEISD students spell their little corazones out at Spanish Spelling Bee.

North East ISD students showed off their Spanish spelling skills in our District Spanish Spelling Bee this week at Madison High School’s Agriscience Magnet Program (AMP).

Olmos Elementary fourth-grader Emma Bagnato won the elementary round by correctly spelling “legalidad.”

East Terrell Hills fourth-grader Valentina Ortiz placed second.

Lopez Middle School eighth-grader Lucia Solis won the middle school round by correctly spelling “zagal.”

Bradley Middle School eighth-grader Javier Arteaga placed second.

The regional Spanish spelling bee is in February.
