Abraham is a student at Roosevelt High School. Being short-staffed on custodians is an unfortunate truth for many of our schools, and Abraham took notice of this. He started cleaning the courtyard during his lunch time and even after school. Abraham is not a member of a club or organization – he just decided to help entirely on his own. Not only is he making the custodial crew feel appreciated and supported, but he’s also serving as a great role model and influence on his fellow classmates. When asked why this is important to him, he said that the courtyard is beautiful, and he wants to keep it that way.
