Monica coordinated and implemented two successful service projects this year at Roan Forest Elementary School. In August, she led the Peanut Butter Bowl Drive to collect peanut butter jars for impoverished people in our community. The excitement she created helped the school collect the most peanut butter jars in the Johnson cluster! In February, Monica also led the Kindness Food Drive to stock the campus food pantry. The food items collected were used for weekend snack packs that go home with food insecure students. The impact these two food drives had on our community are immeasurable.
