Landin Weaver is a student at MacArthur High School. When he began working on his Eagle Scout project, he immediately thought of Wetmore, where he attended elementary school. After much discussion with the Wetmore principal, they decided additional picnic and learning seating would be installed in the back courtyard. He also installed a sundial to support deeper science learning, and a sensory garden. Everyone loves the additions. Landin could have completed his project anywhere, but he felt compelled to reach out to his elementary school as a way to give back and we are more than grateful.
