Our incredible volunteers play a key role in the collective village that helps raise our kids and strengthen our community. 

On Tuesday, we’ll recognize some of the people who make our schools a better place simply by giving the gift of time during the PTA’s annual Volunteer Recognition Luncheon. Thanks to our PTA members, thousands of dollars are raised and saved every year. 

The funds go right back to our schools and provide so many opportunities for our children, teachers and families. Our PTAs make a real impact through events like the Used Book Sale, Project Graduations, Bike Rodeos, the Blossom Scholarship Fund and much more. Please join me in thanking our PTA for their time and service to our schools. 

Remember, you don’t have to be a PTA member to share your time and talents at NEISD. There are so many opportunities to volunteer in our schools – from making copies to greeting students during drop off or helping out during lunch. If you’re looking for a fun, safe way to spend Halloween, the North East Police Department is hosting a Trunk or Treat event Monday night from 6 – 8 p.m. This community event will take place at NEPD Headquarters, located at the address below (10333 Broadway). There will be candy, face painting, food, games and lots of fun for the whole family. NEPD is also accepting candy donations. We hope to see you there.

Nuestros increíbles voluntarios juegan un papel clave en la colectividad comunitaria que ayuda a formar a nuestros hijos y fortalecer nuestra comunidad.

El martes, reconoceremos a algunas durante el Almuerzo Anual de Reconocimiento de Voluntarios de la PTA. Personas que hacen de nuestras escuelas un lugar mejor simplemente al regalar su tiempo. Gracias a nuestros miembros de la PTA, miles de dólares se recaudan y ahorran cada año.

Los fondos regresan a nuestras escuelas y brindan muchas oportunidades para nuestros hijos, maestros y familias. Nuestros PTA tienen un impacto real a través de eventos como la Venta de libros usados, Graduaciones de proyectos, Rodeos de bicicletas, el Fondo de becas Blossom y mucho más. Por favor, acompañeme para agradecer a nuestra PTA por su tiempo y servicio a nuestras escuelas.

Recuerde, no tiene que ser miembro de la PTA para compartir su tiempo y talentos en NEISD. Hay muchas oportunidades para ser voluntario en nuestras escuelas, desde hacer copias hasta recibir a los estudiantes durante la dejada en la mañana en o ayudar durante el almuerzo. Si está buscando una forma divertida y segura de pasar Halloween, el Departamento de Policía del Noreste está organizando un evento de Trunk or Treat el lunes por la noche de 6: 00 p. m. a 8: 00 p. m. Este evento comunitario se llevará a cabo en la sede del NEPD, ubicada en la dirección a continuación (10333 Broadway). Habrá dulces, pintura facial, comida, juegos y mucha diversión para toda la familia. El NEPD también está aceptando donaciones de dulces. Esperamos contar con su presencia.
