Evangelina Vasquez

Evangelina has spent many hours at Woodstone Elementary School volunteering for many events and activities.  In fact, she has volunteered approximately 300 hours this year alone. Evangelina took a special interest in making sure students had a great time at the school’s “Pictures with Santa” event.  She transformed a classroom into a beautiful and inviting place and even dressed up like an elf and passed out gifts to the students.  Evangelina has also helped with the bike rodeo, picture day, made all the backdrops for the kindergarten performance, helped the Family Specialist distribute Thanksgiving and Christmas meals, organized Child Abuse Awareness cardboard kids, and organizes and maintains the Woodstone Clothing Closet. She is always ready to help and she does it with great joy.
