Weather Precautions

Cold Weather: Campuses shall make the best decision for their campus based on the conditions at their site and the appropriate dress of their students with regards to participation outdoors for recess and physical education.

For example if it is 36 degrees and sunny, students have appropriate clothing, students should be encouraged to play outside. If it is 36 degrees, drizzling, and students are not dressed appropriately, then students may not be encouraged to play outside. Making a blanket decision to play outside should not be based on the temperature alone.
