Meal Charges

The following guidelines are followed for students with meal charges.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS
Students are expected to have funds available for the purchase of their meal. However, elementary students that do not have funds in their accounts will be allowed to charge up to $15.00. Once a student's account falls to a negative balance, a letter will be sent home and the household will receive a message through parent link informing them of the negative balance. Parents will be informed that only an alternate meal and beverage will be provided until a payment is received. Students are not allowed to charge extra items if funds are not available.

MIDDLE SCHOOLS
Students are expected to have funds available for the purchase of their meal. However, if necessary middle school students may be allowed to charge up to $10.00. If a student account falls to a negative balance, the household will receive a message through parent link informing them of the negative balance. An alternate meal and beverage will be provided until a payment is received. Students are not allowed to charge extra items if funds are not available.
