Roosevelt students fight hunger while feeding hope

Roosevelt High School students are fighting hunger while feeding hope in the San Antonio community.

Recently, 25 Technology Student Association (TSA) students visited the San Antonio Food Bank to sort donation and pack boxes in their warehouse. Students in the Engineering & Technologies Academy’s TSA chapter packed enough food for 6,232 meals!

“I had a great time helping out the community and bonding with the other TSA members,” said TSA Vice President Nicole G. “It’s really encouraging to know that the food we packed was going straight to people who needed it.”

Way to give back #theNEISDway! Thank you to TSA sponsors Grizelda Gentry, Caesie McHenry and Kathleen Kredell.
