North East ISD picked up two awards at H-E-B's 2023 Excellence in Education Award ceremony.
We’re proud to share that our Pre-K Academy at West Avenue was named the top Early Childhood Center winner! The big win comes with a $25,000 prize for the school.
NEISD’s Pre-K Academy at West Avenue takes the whole child into account, introducing them to social and academic skills through several teaching strategies. The Pre-K Academy at West Ave is helping even the youngest learners get started on the path toward lifelong learning by now accepting 3-year-olds.
Join us in congratulating our second H-E-B Excellence in Education Award winner - North East School of the Arts (NESA) teacher Amie Charney! She was named the winner of the Leadership Secondary category.
Charney is the Creative Writing Director at NESA and was one of just five teachers to be named a finalist in the entire state. We’re proud to share that she’s the overall winner!
