Referral Deadlines

Parent referrals for GT testing are due by the following dates. 

• September 13th for first, third, fourth and fifth grades
• December 31 for kindergarten
• All second grade students will take a universal screener in October, which will be used to identify students who might benefit from the gifted and talented program.
• All fifth grade students will take a universal screener in January, which will be used to identify students who might benefit from the secondary gifted and talented program (beginning in the sixth grade). Students can qualify for English GT, Math GT, or both.
