Congratulations to Scarlett and Teancum, our second grade Students of the Month!
Castle Hills is proud to select Scarlett Scheibe as the Student of The Month. Scarlett shows great character daily through her kindness, determination and positive attitude.
Each day, Scarlett arrives with a smile on her face excited for school, which is contagious to others around her. She never hesitates to help a friend in need, and does so not to be recognized, but because it was the right thing to do. When faced with challenges, Scarlett takes them head-on and has a can-do attitude, showing that she understands the value of having a growth mindset.
Scarlett is a true leader in and out of the classroom. Her excitement about learning, ability to have a positive effect on others and her integrity are what make Scarlett a perfect choice for Student of the Month.
Castle Hills is also proud to select Teancum Crandall as the Student of the Month. Teancum shows character through compassion every day. He never hesitates to help a friend in need, whether it be volunteering to work with anyone who needs a little extra help or simply sitting with someone who he feels could use a friend. Teancum is the epitome of a good citizen.
One of the things Teancum enjoys the most is reading nonfiction books and articles. He uses what he learns to add to classroom discussions as well as cooperative learning groups.
Teancum comes to school each day with a positive attitude. He continues to display a high level of optimism, eagerness to learn, and a compassion towards his peers. All of these qualities are what makes him a Castle Hills Student of the Month.
