Tracey Moreno knows how to make her students and their families feel special. Now, they’re returning the favor.
The fourth grade Huebner Elementary School teacher was recently nominated and celebrated as the KSAT Educator of the Month for August.
“I come to work because it’s fun and I love it and to be recognized on top of that is just icing on top of the cake. This is just amazing.”
Tracey has been teaching for 18 years total, with 16 of those at Huebner. One of her favorite parts of teaching fourth grade is being able to dive into Texas history with her students. She plans to use part of the money to restock the classroom prize box so her students can earn even bigger and better rewards.
