Reagan students bring holiday cheer to Dellview

Reagan StuCo members bring gifts to Dellview with text

Every child at Dellview Elementary School unwrapped a present today thanks to the Reagan High School Student Council.

“It’s truly a blessing that you took the time to give our community some holiday cheer,” said Dellview Family Specialist Mayra Martinez. “From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for taking the time to do this and bring some love to Dellview.”

The Reagan Student Council collected and wrapped nearly 400 puzzles so every child could bring home a gift. Junior Maya Ackerman was one of more than 30 Student Council members who made that special delivery at Dellview. It’s a day she won’t soon forget.

“It feels so special and it feels good to give back. When they were unwrapping the puzzles and their faces just lit up. You could see how happy they were. It’s been such a fun experience to be able to do this.”

Reagan senior Anisa Majuta got to surprise the students in the Alternative Learning Environment (ALE) classroom.

“I was in the group that handed out gifts to the ALE kids and it was amazing to see. When we came in, they were so excited to see us. It was great to see their reaction. We had a lot of fun today.”
