Art Materials

• Students are required to bring a 1” 3-ring binder to be kept in the classroom for the entire school year. This binder will be used as a sketchbook and a working portfolio for rough drafts, project planning, notes, and vocabulary.
• Class sets of art supplies and materials will be available for all students. If a student prefers to use their own sets (drawing pencils, colored pencils, markers, watercolor paints, etc.), the student is welcome to bring those items from home and store them in their personal bin.
• Art can get VERY messy. Students are encouraged to bring an apron, smock, or oversized t-shirt to wear over their clothes on particularly messy days. A limited number of smocks and aprons are available to borrow in the classroom.
