Classroom Expectations

• Arrive on time and be ready to work and learn.
• Personal water bottles will be stored in a designated area away from desks and work areas.
• Food items (including candy and gum) will remain in backpacks or pockets. Eating food is not allowed in the art room (unless medically necessary as documented by the nurse).
• Roughhousing, running, or throwing any item in the classroom will not be tolerated.
• Use your work time wisely—do not rush through projects, but be aware of due dates.
• Raise your hand to ask or tell — listen quietly while others are speaking.
• Respect our art supplies, our property, and each other.
• Maintain a tidy workspace and clean up after yourself.
• All finished artworks, rough sketches, and planning materials must remain in the classroom until Ms. Rotschafer has given approval to take the materials home.
• Mistakes are okay! Be creative, try your best, and have fun!
