What is UNITY Conference?
The students represented each high school as they prepared to take part in team-building activities, where they will be sharing new ideas and hear from guest speakers. The UNITY Conference challenges the students to reflect on their beliefs and practices. This dynamic atmosphere helps garner fresh perspectives that will make a big difference at NEISD high schools.
After the conference, each club will return to their campus to plan and implement new ideas that will promote activities that bring different groups of people together to achieve a common concern, in effect changing their campus culture.
The conference is sponsored by North East Student Well-Being Department. The Student Well-Being & Mental Wellness Counselors (formerly STAN) facilitate this conference.
