Library Services was a pioneer for our district in digital badging, launching our own system in the 2016-2017 school year and awarding over 300 digital badges to NEISD librarians and ITS collaborators. Our department is proud to be on the leading edge of this innovative professional recognition and is now eager to join with other departments and campuses across the district to widen the badging opportunities for our fellow educators.

A link for requesting badges will be added to My Campus and Launchpad in the near future.
Once a badge has been awarded, an automated email will include instructions for setting up a Digital Badge site that can be linked as a tab on your Welcome Page. This will allow district badge earners to have a consistent and easily maintained site for showcasing their earned badges.
In addition, badge earners will receive a new Digital Badge Banner that can be added into an email signature for quick access to their personal digital badge site.
