Mrs. Brandi Gomez

Hi! My name is Brandi Gomez, and I am thrilled to be continuing to support Roan Forest students this year! This will be my twenty-second year teaching, and my ninth year in North East ISD. 

I grew up in Bulverde, and graduated from Smithson Valley High School. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Child Study and Language Development from Southwestern University, in Georgetown, Texas, as well as a master's degree in reading education from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades, as well as have served as a dyslexia intervention teacher, a reading intervention teacher, and I am currently a Special Education Co-Teacher.

Steven and I have been married for 18 years and have a fourth grader, David, and a first grader, Cristina, who both attend Roan Forest in the dual language program. We are so excited to be able to raise our family in San Antonio, with our extended family close. Through all of our life travels, San Antonio has always felt like home. 

As a family, our interests include traveling (especially to Disney World), enjoying the beach, and just having fun together.
