    • Librarian teaching research to 5th grade.
    • Librarian supported both TEKS and STAAR readiness by creating an inquiry unit for 5th grade. During the week of President's Day, students got to pick one president of their choice to research. Students used the library resources and their Chromebooks to gather facts about their president. After students gathered facts, they were asked to write a short essay that included information about the president, and any similarities or differences they had with the president. Students typed up their
    • essays on a Chromebook which gave them much needed practice for the upcoming online STAAR test.
