The librarian obtained a grant to take all the Pre-K students to the San Antonio Zoo on Oct. 14. Students were able to observe and create drawings of the animals.
The librarian attends weekly leadership meetings to plan upcoming events, help the staff, and look at data from student assessments. These meetings allow us to make informed decisions for the betterment of the school.
The librarian presented the Sora app to the staff. They could immediately use this digital resource to facilitate eBooks in their classroom and share them with their students.
At a Principal’s Coffee meeting with parents, the librarian spoke about daily read-alouds. She emphasized the tremendous benefits read-alouds provide young children regarding social, emotional, and mental health.
