    • The STEAM rotation teacher is new to our campus this year, and it is my responsibility to oversee her position. I spent several weeks at the beginning of the year training and supervising her, as well as developing lesson plans and support materials.
    • This year, our new Teacher Padlet and Parent Padlet have helped communicate library information. I add short post-it notes to the Padlets all week, and the permanent link appears in the Friday Staff Update (for teachers) and the Monday Northwood News (for parents).
    • Our library provides a monthly storytime six times per year for 3-5 year-old children in our community. Children come with a parent and enjoy an hour of stories, songs, and crafts around a central theme.
    • Our 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade students have the opportunity to read with one of our therapy dogs. Suzie and Maya visit the library regularly with their handlers. Students read leveled books while boosting their reading fluency and confidence.
