This is my 31st year teaching band and I love being a music educator.  I have taught 17 years at Krueger MS in NEISD, where I managed the band program and fine arts/electives department. Under my direction, the students throughout my career have received consistent sweepstakes awards for UIL and the Krueger Band placed as a TMEA Area Honor Band Finalist for 2019 and 2022. I have had the privilege of working with State Marching Band Finalists throughout my career.  During my 30 years of teaching, I have taught Pre-K through College with percussion as my specialty.  I have performed as a soloist for Texas State Orchestra Concerto Contest, Heart of Texas Band Soloist, Fiesta Texas Show performances and various other venues. My hobbies include watching movies, NBA--Go SPURS, architecture,and photography.  I love spending time with my family, sons Russell, Phillip and Trevor and my fur baby Luna.  I love teaching students the joy of music as learning an instrument can be a life long skill. I am very excited to join the LEE Band Staff Spring of 2023 and look forward to working with these amazing students.  Go VOLS!!!!
