Nimitz/STEM inaugural Healthy Lifestyles Fair

Don't miss this awesome opportunity to take in the festivities at the Nimitz Middle School/STEM Academy Healthy Lifestyles Fair. This is the first time that this event has been hosted by the campus. The special event will feature: 

• Free 60-minute Yoga class - An opportunity to improve focus, memory and reduce anxiety and stress for students/parents/teachers as they prepare for STARR testing.
• Food Bank demonstrations on how to shop for healthy foods as well as a free healthy snack samples
• United Health System will be providing free 15-minute workshop on Pedestrian safety
• HOSA will be conducting free blood pressure screenings and BMI
• DENTAL Health Information
• Box TOP table and how we use funds earned
• Fun Games such as hopscotch, hula-hoop, jump rope
• Healthy snacks as prizes
• BIG Give annual fundraiser
