Mrs. Lydia Aranda

I have a bachelor's degree in environmental design from Texas A&M University, but I was always interested in teaching. After working on several construction and architectural projects, I signed up to get my alternative teacher certification and began teaching soon after. Since then, I have earned a master's degree in educational administration at Texas A&M at Commerce. I have taught at elementary schools in Laredo, San Antonio, Beaumont and Mesquite. I love hearing from the children I have taught throughout the years!

Since early on in life I knew I wanted to be a teacher.  I always loved school and wanted to have a hand in making it enjoyable for others.  I also wanted to take part in creating a strong, responsible, educated future for our country.  Education is an extremely important part of society that begins early in life.  Taking part in the early education of a child is very gratifying to me.  I truly enjoy helping parents develop their children's intellect and character.  Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to work with your child.
