Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Mica Willey
This is my first year at Oak Grove Elementary and my 14th year of teaching as a special education professional. I recently moved to San Antonio from the Tomball/Houston area where I grew up. I have a Master's degree in Special Education with a specialization in low-incidence disabilities. My teaching experience has been in Resource Inclusion/Co-Teach in the general education setting, self-contained alternative setting for students with severe and profound behavior, social and academic deficits, and community based instructional settings. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, and exploring new cultural experiences and local flavor. My hobbies include event floral design and crafting. My goals include finishing my clinical hours to sit for the BCBA exam to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, continuing my journey as a life-long learner, and buying a house to make San Antonio my home.
I am proud to be an Oak Grove Panther and being part of the "Going the Distance" movement!
