Mrs. April Hobbs
Welcome Tejeda Families!
My name is Mrs. Hobbs and I am very excited about this new school year with you! This will be a wonderful year full of authentic learning, and lots of fun experiences along the way. Education is my passion and I look forward to our journey together as we build minds and shape hearts for a lifetime of learning success for your children!
I gained my qualifications as an educator by first earning my Bachelors of Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Texas at San Antonio, and then my Masters of Educational Administration at Lamar University. As a believer of lifetime learning, I am currently in the process of completing my Doctorate of Educational Leadership.
A little about me is that I am blessed to be married to my beloved husband for 26 years, and we have three amazing sons ages 25, 21, and 20. We also have added a beautiful daughter to the family, as our oldest was married two years ago. Our oldest and his wife are both Intelligence Officers in the Air Force, and the two younger sons are in college pursuing degrees in Cyber Security. I am an avid reader, and enjoy all things that revolve around my faith and family.
Although we started the year a bit later than expected, with your support I anticipate that this year will be monumental for your child as they gain knowledge and experiences that will build a strong foundation for their educational growth!
