Mrs. Stettner
I have been married for 32 years and we have two children. We live on nine acres out in the Hill Country.
My interest in education started in 1998 as I started substitute teaching for BISD and FISD. I went back to school to get a degree in Special Education. I obtained my Associate degree, carrying a 4.0, and was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa. Next, I moved on to Texas A&M Commerce and earned my BS in Special Education. I graduated Cum Laude and was inducted into Kappa Delta Pi Honor society, The National Honor Merit Scholar Society, and Academic Merit Society.
I taught at Forney ISD for a year as a Home Bound teacher. I moved back to the Hill Country and started teaching in the Behavioral Unit at Twain Middle School. As Twain became a Dual Language Academy, I moved to Franklin Elementary in a brand-new ACE unit. Following that, I accepted a position at Holmgreen Center in NISD. As a lead teacher for the middle school, I taught students with severe behavioral issues. Next, I went to work for Ingram ISD as a middle school inclusion teacher with a case load of 29 students. Lastly, I am in the place I was meant to be! This is my third year at NEAC and I absolutely love what I do. This year, I will be teaching resource class. I am looking forward to working with all of you this year.
